Playing in the snow

Today was the first time Maezie played in the snow. She wasn't so sure of it at first but once Daddy showed her to throw a snowball at Mommy she thought that was great.

Daddy throwing a snowball at Mommy

So since Daddy threw one Maezie wants one too!

Now let's go Daddy!!

Ooops not face first! But she stood up laughing so that was good.

Time to build a Snowman!

Heavy she says

I'll do it all by myself Daddy!

So proud that she did it all by herself

Have to give the Snowman a kiss.
Brrrr she said when she was done but then
gave him about 3 more after that.

Mommy needs another snowball thrown at her!

Being silly like always.
She had so much fun and now wants
cousin Marmey (Marley) to play
with her next week in the snow.
She had a blast so I'm sure we will have many more days out in the snow. She cried when I told her it was time to go inside :(

By far my favorite

Welll I think this tops everything that Maezie has done in the past 20 months of her life! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Family time

Last Friday we got together at Mom's for Heidi and I's Birthdays. The girls always like seeing each other. Can't wait to watch them grow up together and be closer as they get older.

Reading with cousin Krae and Granny

Uncle Nate teaching her bad things!

Toy box fun

While I was eating lunch the other day I turned from the table and this is where I found her. I'm pretty sure her Auntie "A" taught her this a while back while they were at Grannys house but this was the first time she had climbed in her toy box at home and boy did she have fun being in there.

Playing

Maezie loves playing with Ruggz! Here she is putting her Cubs hat on her. Not so sure Ruggz knows what to think of this. But they both have a good time together.

Here she is playing with Darby and again with the hat

Mimi sent this tent home with us one night and Maezie loves it. She even got Ruggz to come in and sit for a bit with her.
Climbing through the tunnel that goes into the tent!!

Catching up!

As usual life has not slowed down and I haven't had a chance to keep up. As the holidays are quickly approaching I wanted to get some recent pictures posted for everyone to enjoy. My little girl is getting so big and everyday is something new. If you give her the time she will sit and talk your ear off but she also just enjoys you to just sit with her and say nothing. I cherish every minute that God has given me to spend with her and don't take any of it for granted.

One of Maezie's favorite things this summer was when Granny would come and we would walk to the park. When we got down the street from the park and you could see it she would get all excited and scream "swinging swinging swinging" and clap her hands and start rocking back and forth in her stroller as if it would get her there faster. I don't think there is one thing at the park that she doesn't like.

Swimming!

Well summer is alomost over but I'm just now to the point of posting the pictures that started our summer. So to start off the summer Maezie went swimming in her little pool that she got for her birthday. After swimming in the pool bath time became a chore because she loved the water even more.

What is this green stuff??

Well the weather has finally been nice so we headed outside to play. Well okay maybe not play because she wasn't a fan of the grass. She didn't like the way it felt on her legs or her hands. But we sat in it for a while thinking she would get use to it but that didn't happen. But Brandon had fun taking some pictures any way.

Uncle Dan came to visit

Uncle Dan came to visit the middle of April. We had lots of fun and I don't think Maez wanted him to leave she had so much fun. He taught her how to throw the ball but even better than that he got her a new house one that is so much fun. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see for yourself.

For some reason she didn't like going in and out of the door she liked the challenge of getting out the window instead.

She sure does have fun

Look at all the balls

Thanks Uncle Dan for such a fun toy!

It's about time!

Yes I know I am way behind on updating this blog. No excuse other than I've been busy and I just haven't done it. So with that being said I have gone back and I'm going to post a few pictures since the last update back the beginning of April. Alot has gone on since then so hang in there and we'll get up to date soon.

just being her cute self!

Silly hat day?

Ever see a slap-happy Peanut?!

While we were sitting around after a particularly busy day Maezie started getting a little slap-happy and of course- we got out the camera. She was trying to pet Ruggz, but it was more like hammering her on the top of her head! I told her to be nice and, "pet Ruggz" and for some reason she found that phrase hilarious! Enjoy Peanutty laughing - we did!

Maezie's 1st Birthday

Wow how quickly the first year went. I have loved every minute of watching my baby turn into a little girl. God has truly blessed us with a super little girl. Here's some pictures from her birthday party.

The Birthday Girl!!!

We decorated with pink and brown and balloons. The balloons were all done by "It's My Party" they did a great job.

The big birthday Cupcake!

Papa and Granny got her the Little People Race Day truck that makes all kinds of noise!

We keep finding her sitting and laying down in Rugz's bed so Mimi and Poppy found her a bean bag with the hopes that she will sit in it instead of Rugz's bed.

Can't forget the necessities!
Thank you Obinger Family you have been such a blessing!

She also got lots of clothes and other toys
